A global team of contributors.

We are a global team of authors, illustrators, designers, curators, developers, and entrepreneurs, with a passion for improving the lives of children through technology enabled learning tools.

From our origins as a digital library, we have organically grown to become a leading education technology developer and mid-tier publisher of high quality, culturally diverse and age appropriate children’s book, delivered digitally and in print on demand.

We believe that education brings opportunity. We invest in supporting early years literacy and numeracy education, knowing this support directly impacts how a child will learn and develop in the future.

We provide evidence backed, technology enabled learning tools to engage students, and guide teachers and families as they nurture each child’s unique learning journey.

A decade of innovation and success.

Did you know.

While Library For All’s global operations is based in Australia, the catalyst was a disaster of epic proportions over 15,000 kilometres away. The year was 2010, and Haiti was hit by destructive earthquake. Library For All Founder and CEO, Rebecca McDonald and her husband Barry were moved by images of large scale suffering and so relocated to volunteer on community projects.

What affected her most during her years in Haiti was seeing classrooms with hundreds of children that had no books. As a keen reader of e-books herself, the idea for an accessible, culturally relevant digital library hit Rebecca like a lightning bolt. The rest, as they say, is history. Rebecca founded Library For All giving children around the world access to books and knowledge.

In September 2019, Rebecca was awarded the prestigious Community Award at the 22nd annual Women in Technology (WiT) Awards. Read more.

The Wishing Feather

With the help of our partner Griffith University Film School, we’ve created a series of videos that bring some of our most popular story books to life. There are currently 3 in the collection including The Wishing Feather – All Ireno wants is to play with her older brother Samson. Will her wish come true? In this adaptation the book is transformed into a short video where story book characters are played by young actors. You can see all 3 books on our newly launched YouTube Channel.
