In 2010, after an earthquake struck Haiti, our founder Rebecca McDonald relocated from Brisbane, Australia to volunteer in rebuilding efforts.
Moved by the scale of the crisis in many ways, she was particularly struck by the sight of classrooms with no books, no reading materials, and few opportunities to learn. The absence of such basic educational resources stayed with her.
The rest, as they say, is history.
That moment sparked an idea: a global digital library designed for equity, built to reach children everywhere with stories that reflect their lives
Today, Library For All reached over 560,000 children through innovative publishing, partnerships and technology.
