The Funding Network Set To Kickstart Library For All’s Australian Indigenous Collections

Together For Education

A presentation on Library For All’s mission to make knowledge accessible to all, equally, will kickstart an exciting evening at The Funding Network’s next TFN Live event in Brisbane.

For the first time publicly, Library For All will detail a plan to launch its groundbreaking digital library in Australia, including a new Australian Indigenous languages collection.

This collection aims to make a positive contribution to the challenge of improving literacy in Australia’s Indigenous population. Working closely with community advisors, Library For All will publish and distribute a series of illustrated children’s books in Australian Indigenous languages on the Library For All digital library application.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Library For All Rebecca McDonald explained that, “The Funding Network’s belief in Library For All is a testament to the success of our impact around the world”.

“Library For All is excited to be able to pitch its new Australian Indigenous collection at this unique and highly-respected forum.”

The Funding Network is a global network of crowdsourcing events that have supported more than 1,000 grass-roots organisations with more than $18 million dollars since 2002.
